Welcome to the 5^th Annual Big Bend Mountain Ramble

in the beautiful high-country west of Alpine.

The Highest Race in Texas!

Race Schedule:

Elementary Fun Run -             9:15 am                             0.54 miles

Jr. High Girls            -     9:30 am                     2.13 miles

Jr. High Boys     -           10:00 am                    2.13 miles

HS Girls        -     10:30 am                    5K

HS Boys        -    11:15 am                    5K

         Coaches/Parents Fun Run???                     5K

NOTE: THE HS GIRLS RACE WILL BE ON THE 5K RACE COURSE - same as the boys!

You do NOT need to send entries for the Mountain Ramble -

just let us know you're coming so we can include your team name on the T-shirts!

We use the famous Wink popsicle stick scoring method - which doesn't require runners to have numbers

Fees:

$6.00 per runner

Entry in the Fun Run is free - you just need to sign in.

Parents may run with their younsters. All Fun Run finishers get a medal!

Awards:

Medals will be awarded to the first 20 finishers in each division.

First-Place and Runner-up Team Trophies will be awarded in each division

We’ll also have souvenir race T-shirts with a very cool front design, and featuring the names of competing schools on the back.
